Role of Leadership: to provide the resources necessary for the teams to succeed
I. To succeed, must have purpose. Purpose is powerless without these four steps:
- Seek Direction (system archetype theory)
- Leader has the vision, weighs and makes the Decision
- Communicate the Vision
- Commit, Measure, Adjust, Drive with fortitude
II. Have a sense of excellence
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
III. Be a willing contributor
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 29:11-14
